Frequently Asked Questions

Step 1 – Sign Up:

  • Fill in the registration details to set up an account and create a username and password

Step 2 – Request for Verification:

  • Fill in the necessary information per the steps defined in the DigiFlow portal.
  • For database verification, the requestor will be asked to fill in the mandatory data fields to get instant verification.
  • For a semi-automated manual process, the requestor will be asked to upload the document while filling the mandatory data fields.
  • To Note: verification for the semi-automated manual process can take up-to 10 working days

Step 3 – Upload (if required) a Letter of Authorization (LOA)

  • Print, sign (by the Applicant) and upload a scanned Letter of Authorization per the requested format.

Step 4 – Payment:

Once all steps have been completed, you can make an online payment via a number of methods:

For requesters based in India:
  • Debit card
  • Credit card
  • Net banking
Outside India:

International Visa/Mastercard Debit and Credit card

Step 5 – Confirmation

  • Once the payment has been completed successfully, you will get an option to download your payment receipt and will be guided to the status of your verification request.

Verified

  • The information/document submitted has been verified and matches the Issuing Authority records.
  • Based on this result, the Verification report can be downloaded by clicking the icon next to the verified status in verification history tab.

Not Verified

  • The information/document submitted has been verified and does not match the Issuing Authority records.
  • Based on this result, the Verification report can be downloaded by clicking the icon next to the unverified status in verification history tab.

Partial Data Mismatch

  • The data entered for verification has resulted in a partial mismatch of information
  • In these cases, it is likely one or more of the entry fields is incorrect. The requestor will be notified to their registered email ID with a secure code to bypass the payment step and allowed a further two additional attempts to enter the information
  • After two attempts, if the requestor fails to fill in the correct information, it will result in a “Not Verified” status.
  • In this scenario, the requester will then be provided an opportunity to upload the document to be verified as per the Semi-Automated Manual Process by following these steps
  1. Click on the Upload Document icon enabled next to “Not verified” status XXX.
  2. The requester will be notified about the verification status on their registered email ID within 10 working days from uploading the document.

Additional Information Required

  • The information/document submitted is not adequate for the Issuing authority official to provide a conclusive verification.
  • The requester will be notified to their registered email ID with a secure code to bypass the payment step to upload the additional document(s)

Issuing Authority’s database hosted on DigiFlow the verification is instant, taking only minutes for a result

Issuing Authority’s database not hosted on DigiFlow- the semi automated manual verification can take up to 10 working days.

Auto-Rejection happens when the data entered for verification has resulted in a Partial Mismatch / Additional Information / Not Verified status.

When this happens, the requestor will be notified to their registered email ID, and will be given one final attempt to input the correct details. A secure code (Token Number) will be provided in the email to bypass the payment step.

If the requestor did not take any actions for 30 days - the final status will be marked as “ Auto Rejected “ for that application; the applicant will see a “ Not Verified “ status in the portal.
